Barnes & Barnes CPAs began as a sole proprietorship in 1972 when G. Cecil Barnes, Jr. (Retired), opened the practice in North Wilkesboro. It evolved into a partnership in 1994 with his son, G. Scott Barnes, CPA, being named as a partner.
